Range limits now much more visible on 4D--- Good work.

and Thanks. I realize that this forum is mainly for bug reporting but sometimes we all loose sight of the fact that the programmers could use a good pat on the back now an then. Anyway, here's to the SD crew.

Well, it looked like it for a while, but I am back to where I can't see that limit line any more.

Have you tried fiddling with the Nebula background density?

Yes I have. I may have found a setting that does pretty well. Not real good, but workable.

I am also seeing another problem with the range limit lines. They disappear. When viewing them sometimes you will see a range limit line vanish when it crosses a sector boundary. I find this happens most often when the unexplored space covering changes from tan to black. (I have often wondered what makes that change of color necesary, or what it is supposed to represent.)

With my ATI card and monitor, I need to turn the nebula density up to see the grid lines, but that makes the range limit lines harder to see. I'd like to see the range limit lines a color with more contrast.
