Beta 4D: Ship Design

Had a case where I could not close the Ship Design window. I could call other windows up over it but I couldn't close the window. Had to CTRL+ALT+DEL out of the game. Nothing in the debug.err file.

While test later to find out when it happens. This was on build 0.79[b].005

I believe this happens because when cancelling out of ship design you get a message box asking you whether you are sure you want to cancel and lose all changes yadda yadda...

except that said message box pops up *behind* the ship design screen, where you can neither see it nor reach it. I got around that somehow by opening the ship design screen once more (that is, when it already was open and refusing to close) and closing it immediately w/o changing anything. I then found said message box waiting for me.

Problem is that I save just before I did that, nor could I open up the ship design screen again. It just was the screen I came back to when all other windows were closed. Nor did pressing the turn button make it go away, though it did advance the turn.

I beleive this is an issue when going to the Ship Design screen from the GNN.  Was this the case when it happened to you?

I myself just had an issue with the ship design screen, where it would not let me exit it after making a new design. I went to the planetary screen through GNN, then went to the ship design screen directly from there.

I didn't go from the GNN. I was looking around the map and thought to make a langer range colonizer to get to some planets I had found.

Have not been able to duplicate but when launching a colonizer ship the form for adding people didn't appear until after I left the starport.
