I cannot get the Christmas Lights Small to clone

from WinCustomize Forums
I wanted to string the lights around my desktop but it won't let me clone them. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I right-click and it just says Remove.

i could be wrong, but:

you show as a visitor not a customer, so I'm guessing it's the Client Version of DesktopX. All the cloning I have done is while in the builder mode of dtx and i don't think the client has that option. unless there is a way for the creator of the object to have that in the client right click option, i don't think you will be able to clone anything.

Unless you have full DX, you can't clone.  however, I think that you should be able to open multiple copies of the same object and string them together.

there are some more lights here: Link and I believe the DNites's on the 2nd page are longer (1024?)

I just opened the object folder and you can just keep clicking on the lights icon and opening several strings to put together. I knew you could do it with widgets but I wasnt sure about the objects. So I had to try...

huh, i tried it a while back with one of the picture frame ones and they kept erroring on me. Knew you could import, modify, then export as a new then have 2.

Wonder how to set a right click options such as clone or set target on an object to make it easier on Clients?
