Application Errors

OK I get so far into a game and eventually get Application Error The Instruction at "0x005b2bd2" referenced memory at "0x5f8c4c0" The memory could not be "written" Don't know if the memory locations are the same in all cases but stops me from getting to far into a game. Have a save game now where all I have to do is load it and hit end turn or others that wil not even load. Crash Details : 0x4fe7725b - [1.0.0.1 , Windows XP Service Pack 2 - (2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519) , NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Ultra (6.14.10.8185) + SB Audigy 2 Audio [DE80]

So any ideas on how to get past the errors?
