Request:Keep Spaceport planet improvement!

It is important read the post....

i think that spaceports should be kept because it makes planets that you colonize not industrialized enough to produce starships and make it more realistic and, do more "fancier" and larger spaceports allow construction of larger craft? or how those that work

Umm..think you've lost me a bit. You colonise a new world, which starts with just a colony hub. You then build a spaceport, which gives you ship production abilities. You seem to be saying that you somehow 'lose' the spaceport? I really don't follow.

I lost them quite often due to bugs, but thats beside the point. Im not sure there is a move to remove them. Thou for small colonies I sometimes dont build one when Im making let's say pure research colony. Hey man 1 land slot is 1 land slot :/

War Can Destroy the starport so they can loose the port and loose ship production cability for a while and has a good influence on range and economy. also it prevents new colonies from buliding military or Civilian (I mean unarmed) vessels another pacing feature that is interesting to deal with. and better starports give a special military production bonus if their better Factories will always do Soc and Mil together but starports give mil bonuses and it gives a incentive for the capital and Modern Planets to be kept safe and used as military bulid-up stations...

you don't have to bulid a starport for a colony...and well-devolped colonies do give some range but starports give better. because it allows fueling ships to get around better...n stuff. on this field because small hulls can't hold very much i couldn't put support modules on my base fighters so... they could not get out of my home systems so i used them soley for defense....
