I have run into an issue with my Microsoft Multimedia Keyboard, or at the moment I assume the problem is with my keyboard. So, here it goes. I use the enter key to advance the time, mouse clicking gets painfull after an hour or so, what happens is, if I get an galactic news popup screen, for about 10 turns my enter key, neither the main one or the one on the number pad, will not advance the game. About 7 or so turns later, I will get a planet announcement or a finished research window. after I close that window the enter key starts working again until the next galaxy news window appears.
I have removed and installed the newest microsoft driver for it. 5.2, and even tried it with the generic 101 keyboard driver with the same results.
Going to try a new game tonight, will edit post to add results
