Numerous CTDs after first "Enemy combat shown" (even if not involved)

Had numerous CTDs after the first "Enemy combat shown" (my side not involved). Turn it off in Options, but still getting CTD.

Also, I'm getting a graphic of my 1st Survey Ship "stuck" in its original placement....but with an "invisible indicator" of it moving about, auto-surveying, etc.
