I must say that, on the other hand, I do not understand anything to the new tech panel.
I clicked the various techs on the upper left to see what they did. I then went to the lwoer pane, where the tree is. Clicking on a box scrolls the panel. At an unnerving slow pace, moving a small step at a time. Please give me a scrollbar! It looks ugly this way.
So I clicked here and there, saw some techs were filled, others were not. I clicked on the logistics (not filled) box. Then the one to the right (filled). Then the one not filled farther to the right. Suddenly, not just one but the 6 techs in the upper left panel changed. Impossible to find them back. I had several of the same "family" and couldn't go back to the previous ones.
I quit trying to run the game. This tech panel is impossible for me to understand, show stopper, sorry.
