Select a planet from the planet list (single click to get the planet data on the main screen). Then click on the starport button. Now, when you return, the planet list is gone. If you wish to continue working with the planet list, you have to call it up again, and get repositioned within it.

I'm not sure that what you describe is desireable behavior, but it is behaving as it was coded to behave.
Once we get the bug with the quick project wnd fixed, you'll be able to use that to change what ship you are building and change the top project in the build queue by clicking on the fields in the planet list entries that tell what you are building.

I forgot about the GC1 planet list behaviors. Yes, that sounds better.

Of course, in GC1 we didn't have the spaceport window, and were able to go directly to a planet view with the planet list still up. This has all changed. Now, if you want to buy a bunch of colony ships based on the minimum number of turns left (a close enough approximation of less cost to finish), you have to go to the starport window several times. Being able to choose which planet's starport you want from the planet list without having to recall the planet list and reposition it is very desirable for this case. Is there any way of getting an ability of this sort? Or will we be able to purchase ships from the quick project window?
