However much i try, how many times i check for application updates and register my serial number, i can't even find beta 3. can someone help me?

Beta 3 isn't out yet and won't be until late this afternoon (Eastern Time).

Ahh! Another one of these threads! GC2 Beta3 is due out any time.....in the next hour!

Just be patient and hop onto chat through SDC and ask questions if its not showing up yet. Hopefully someone will know what the problem is (once its out ofc).

Are you sure? I heard a rumor that the lead developer quit this afternoon and the Beta is now delayed indefinitely!

A post I made has somehow vanished. Anyway I asked how come it wasn't available for download as of 5:31p.m. EST and I was told to "cut them some slack". Like it was my fault or something. Here's whay I say to that:

If you're not going to have it ready on time it would be professional to tell us about it. Don't post a date and time if you are actually not going to have it ready by then. Telling customers one thing and doing another is not good business practice.

The post where Brad said that it would be posted at 5 ALSO said that it might be late.  We are currently working through some technical issues on the server end.

Chill. The goal was 5pm EST and they said it might run late. They had about 2hrs of delay as it was sent to the server, that isn't bad and the world seems to still be spinning on its axis.

alright i preordered galciv 2 and i got an email with a preorder reference number that dosnt seem to be of any use and i cant find the beta

did it end earlier today? i thought that it was going to last all today for those that preoredered it to download it but from the looks of it i was wrong...

I don't think you use the reference number. Try looking further down in the email for a registration key. I remember being confused by the reference number (which IS useless for activating the game) when I ordered mine. Also, you should download and install Stardock Central (SDC) which is Stardock's software delivery thingy. Trust me, life will be easier if you use SDC to get the Beta.

I don't think you missed it. I saw other people post complaints about not getting the Beta when the last version was released. For them, it turned out that they needed to activate the Beta download using "tokens" in SDC because of the type of game subscription they have purchased.

I'm not sure if that helps you at all. Worst case, you can always contact the Stardock support email address, but that won't fix your problem right now.

The preorders have not yet been processed, so only those who have fully purchased copies of GalCiv 2 from a few months back, or those that have purchased it through TotalGaming are going to have access to the beta at the moment. Preorders should be processed later today, and registration codes emailed accordingly.

Also, make sure the "Show pre-release versions" check box is checked. Its at the bottom of the screen on the games section.
