Bugs in the last release

On the latest release for Galciv II I have found only 3 bugs

1- After playing for x hours (3 or more) the game just crashes without any warning or problem
2- If you start a game and you don't like the position where you are, if you go back to the main screen and try to create a new game, the game crashes
3- If you choose the white bluish no name race as your race and move to the next screen the game crashes, other thatn these 3 bugs everything works OK.

Pitty we can't build yet starbases I will have conquered my last Yor planet.

I think those crashes are related to the heap errors that CariElf has been working on. From the updates it sounds like beta 3 won't suffer from that like beta 2 did. Just dont ask me what a heap error is, I'm trying not to dwell on those fine details!

According to Microsofts explanation, the heap is system memory that is used and reserved for program usage. This value in Xp and Windows 2000 is a registry entry that determines the amount of system memory a program can reserve for it's usasge
