Firstly let me apologise that I am writing yet again about work!
Today my boss came in and told me my presence in required at a meeting next Tuesday at 10am...why you may ask? Well seemingly I am contributing to a negative attitude in the office. Yes it's true that over the last week I have been quiet at work....for a number of reasons. to mention a couple :-
one/ my partner mum is here at the moment and although I am enjoying time with her, it's nice to be at work and have my own thoughts
two/ work is SOOOOOOO BORING!!! (I know this might seem to contradict the above comment, however there's a difference between being bored at work (and I meen really bored...so bored you can't even bring yourself to play minesweeper!) and doing your work yet having your thoughts to yourself.
three/ from previous posts...my manager is an idiot...nothing else to say really
Anyway this meeting, I have no idea what it is about...something to do with 'line management and administrative issue'...WTF?
I contacted my 'union' today and at least found out that I have the right not to attend the meeting if I am not given an agenda of the proceedings...seemingly my attitude has brought the moral of the office down! Funny then how the other staff (all 2 of them) want to come to my place in about three weeks for a 'pamer party'( wine, sweets, professional massage lady etc...NOT DODGY
) I find it very disconcerting that they haven't been able to discuss the matter with me and felt that they needed to consult the manager...
I am annoyed as really, yes I can be a bitch, but generally I am a good person, I do my job well, very well! And so what if I'm quiet....it doesn't affect my performance at work! Fuck I'm angry...really angry!
We can only see what happens next week....
