Patch 1.05 Readme?

Where can I find a *.txt file with the changes in 1.05?

I want to know if some of the bugs that I reported were fixed! ;)

Check the version history. I've tried to post the link here before, but no joy. Seems different now, here lets see ;)http://sdcentral.stardock.com/public/gc1/production/history.htm <-Version History

I wonder how it is determined what from the bug-reports thread makes it to the next build...

Come on, Stardock... the pay-for-one-turn-less-bug could've been fixed by adding 2 bytes in the sourcecode, don't get why it did not make it in 1.05... (hopefully it made it anyways and just was not mentioned in the history text)

If not, I want to encourage everybody to exploit it! >:(

(if you'd have to pay 1000 at once, offer them 700 for 1 turn and pay only 700 instead of 1400, that's what the bug is)

And something more... Why the heck did you add:
"+ Minor Races get diplomatic penalties in trading (easier to take advantage of minor races)" in 1.04.60??? The Alexians pay me 500bc*50turns for some techs... that's nearly what I get from taxes from my 50-stars empire!

Are you positive on your 'one more turn bug' thing? Because there's a lot of anal retentive people playing this game and you are the *only* person I've ever seen claim this bug exists. I guess I can run my own test, but my interpretation has alwasys been the that 700 for one month was 1400 (700 now, 700 next (the 1) month. If not, then yes, it is a bug, but I'm skeptical until I see it verified.

The reason for the minors is simple I figure, they had but one purpose as skeptical traders: planet caretakers until a major came knocking. Now you will at least keep them around so long as their cash holds out. I'm not going to be able to complain at making some money in this game.

Since I first found it out, I always used it to save money... and yes, I am quite sure that at least in 1.04.62 this bug existed.

Maybe someone else noticed it too but wanted to keep the secret for himself...

I ask you to please run your test and tell me what you find out!

If it turns out that my observations are true, even for people with plenty medals and not just an unknown guy, then they probably are more likely to fix it.

I'll be damned, but you are right, the game does not handle the calculation for this at all correctly. It sees a deal for 1 month as worth 2X a deal for 0 months even though the deduction to your treasury is just a one time deal for either one.

I'm not sure where the bug is. Is a 1 month supposed to be like I described: money up front and another payment next month? Is the game's code really not even supposed to be displaying or dealing with 0 month deals and they should all be 1 month? Whichever it is, it's definitely not that big of a bug, but it's definitely an exploit worthy of that one mouse click to change an upfront payment to an AI from 0 to 1 months for the savings (and not knowing where the bug is, you can't even know if this is a cheat or just a work around for a minor code flaw).

It's supposed to be money up front, followed by a payment the next month, and when I tried this it did add the tribute.  But I don't remember if it made the payment correctly...I'll have to check that again.
