Sometimes the mimimap grid comes on - How can I turn it back off?

It gets pretty obstructive when trying to view stuff. I believe I'm talking about how the grid gets highlighted sometimes.

Oh, the brighter blue lines that show the range of that ship? No, there's no way to turn them off, but you could click on an enemy ship.

Well, I click off a ship, but they just won't turn off many times. It's very sporadic... Sometimes it'll just suddenly go off, and I'll be liek "Whew, I can finally see better again".

This has happned over several builds (well, since I've had te game), so it's not something new.

Was somewhat odd prior to that though.

Hmm...odd...maybe it's just not refreshing enough...

Neither does half of the information in the game half the time. :)

But in anycase, I would recommend including the range limits on the main display as well - as long as it isn't too complex (which it is...)

The mini-map grid seems to be on all the time. The bright, light blue grid lines are very annoying.

How do you turn it off?

Is it under options? I couldn't find it....

Sorry. Maybe I'm just not seeing it.

Thanks.

It happens to me, too. But I just live with it. Annoying, but not fatal. :notsure:

Oh, I see.

There isn't an option to turn it off. It's range - where a ship can travel.

Please make an option to turn it off. It's useless, in my opinion. If something's out of range, the Advisor just tells you anyway.

I'd agree for an option to disable it, but I don't think it's useless. It gives a quick overview on how far your ships can travel across the galaxy, and it is slightly faster to check the range grid instead of clicking on an area to see if it is within range.

Also, there are some people that are annoyed with the advisor, as they don't know the keyboard shortcut to close it (requiring them to click on "Done").

There was a bug where it wasn't being turned off when you clicked on an alien ship or had no ships selected, and I believe that I fixed that.
