More games an Empire plays lower the score !!

5 The Jedi Republic Jedi_Master_Yoda 59 835 3307186
6 G.R.O.S.S. Captain Jack Sparrow 42 1097 3199768
7 Canadian Star Federation Paguma 118 1132 3094960

I wonder what gives with the scoring system !!

A few games were submitted after this post and our total went down. Is there negative scores ? :sniff!:

Tech...looks like you lost a member.
:(

On the other hand, G.R.O.S.S.'s score magically went up...

I am a sceptic anyway with the metaverse. I have the feeling that some people make save games once they are on the trak to win and finish the same game multiple times to get a higher score...not funny. Maybe i am mistaken, prove me otherwise.

well some have developed the tactic to playy multiple maso games per day. As far as i know its impossible to do such copying of saves, because there are more datas submitted then showing in the Meta-score-board

There is a tactic to finish a 60K game in under 90 minutes realiably now. That is the technique people use. It is impossible as far as I know to make multiple copys of games.

I believe you are :) Even at my comparatively slow rate of play, a huge/maso/military would take 3 hours tops, so 4 of those on a Sunday wouldn't be a problem for a dedicated player.

According to Stardock, each game started has a unique ID, and can only be submitted once.

I think Stardock said you could submit twice, and it would keep the higher of the two scores. Doing so would still only net you one game though.

From the Metaverse Guidelines ( http://www.galciv.com/playerreg.asp )

6) You may re-submit a saved game score 1 time. Let's say you started a game and saved it early on, because after all its a really good map, you play the game and at its conclusion you submit the game. After the game has ended you say to yourself "You know, I know I can do better than that!" so you decided to reload from that saved game and replay it to get a better score. At the end of the game you can resubmit the score for that game and your score for that game on the Metaverse will be updated. Once a game has been updated on the Metaverse it will not accept any more updates.

First: You might be able to submit any savegame more than once, BUT, metaverse will recognize it though and only add the higher score, but you will NEVER EVER get two separate scores for the same Save Game.

Second: Maybe I misunderstood the problem but.. The score you get on Meteverse is not just added together, its a mean value of the scores submitted.
The size of map and difficulty of the game also effects the total metaverse score. Im not 100% sure on this, but at least about 85% sure ;)

So if you submit a game with a lower score, smaller map or easier difficulty, then your total score might go down.

I just submitted 16 games that I have played over the last three days. All of them are different games. I accidentally submitted one twice. It did not register two separate games when I did so (it basically ignored the second submission, since it was the exact same score). It is possible to finish a maso military victory in about 30 minutes if that helps. ;)
