Earlier stable patches?

HI all,
I'm new to Galactic Civilizations, and it seems like a great game. Sadly there are some bugs in v1.2 that prevent important aspects of information from being saved properly (e.g. United Planet policies are always reset on reload).
I've uninstalled the game, and am currently playing the prepatch version (v1.01). However, I would like to play the highest patch BEFORE the saved game problems started to arise. Does anyone know which version this would be? Also, are there any sites that enable downloads of earlier patches of Galciv? Sadly, this site only seems to have 1.2 available.
Any help on this matter would be appreciated!
