Is there a way to get more background GALCIV Story/history into the game?

Id second this- that was something that I was hoping would be more flesched out in 1.04; perhaps in the expansion pack ?

I'd love to see something similar to what MOO2 did with the Antarans, where you'd have some mysterious race thats uber powerful pull a hit and run attack on a planet, devastating it. This added the victory condition of finding a way into the Antaran's dimension and destroying them.

I think it'd add to a story if there was some menacing race that has marked the universe for extinction or something.

Sick of being extored the Alexians, modify Space sharks by making them ill-tempered mutated and fixing Lasers to them....

Ooh, you don't want him doing diplomacy... if you sent him with a Terror Star to demand tribute, he'd ask for 1BC, and end up selling the station for 5BC. It'd still be fun to watch the diplomacy clips of him in action, but.

Hmm... you know those movies clips in ac for the wonders? Imagine clips for the wonders and trade goods here from some of our favourite tv shows and movies. Or would that be too cheesy?
