New levels for the game

We need a 3 level play game
1-Masso (pro players)
2-challening and above up to Masso (amateur players)
3-Cakewalk up to challenging.(novice players)

That will allow to have 3 divisions where the players that cannot play masso or above normal could get recognition. Right now any player with few masso victories can displaced any other player that has played more games but is not as good as the Masso Players, like we have in the pro. amateur and novice. That way every player could ahve a category where he or she can shine.

If it could be implemented i think it could be good. But i believe that empire scores should remain as they are.

Sounds like an idea to me. It may strike some life back into the Metaverse. It has been VERY silent around these parts.

Another idea would be to decrease the Maso points bonus; at the mo it seems to give something ridiculous like double.

This is a great idea. I think that many players lose interest in the metaverse when they find that only 60K scores can get you recognition.

I think the lead page should remain as it is as the players listed as they are now have earned to be where they are. If it could be added as a sort like map size and alignment, I would agree.

The other point is that this game is much more than the metaverse. A great deal of my enjoyment comes from the community on this forum. If I can only rise to the 300 spot, oh well. Just like if I wanted to run the Boston Marathon, I would be happy with finishing. If I want to be at the top, I had better train my arse off, and really want it.

Just to set the record straight, the quoted message was from me, Consul Slothrop, and not Anya157. I was using Anya157's laptop to check my email, and thought I would start up SDC to see what was going on. One thing lead to another and next I know, I mistakingly posted, and it came out from Anya157. :(
