Library and Anomalous Difficulty

Before you say: search the board, I did that. :)

According to some posts it could be the Terraformer Mod which caused the problem increasing Earth's PQ to 40. Ok, NOW I know it - would have been nice to knew that earlier. I thought all the things in the library were safe - obviously I was wrong with that.

Therefore I have an idea: How about a rating system for everything in the library? Or just a big red flashy "Forbidden!" on all additions which are broken? Or at least a warning that the game won't be counted, instead of a punishment? After playing several days, it's a bit frustrating to end up with a lower score than before...

I have that mod install in my computer and so far I have not have an anomalous score because of it and I got planets with PQ above 50 with no anomalous score, the basic rule I have found in my anomalous games is a flag that is trigged when you over exploit the AI's very earlier in the game, but if you just exchange for less amount of money for more time you will not activate this flag.

Jedi Captain Mayito7777: It's not the pq of your planet that matters, it's your PQ ability, which is listed on the stats tab of the domestic screen.

Cari - how high is the cut-off point before you trigger the flag? of is there more to it than that?

That means every mod can be used? that's great. :D

But I don't get that with the exploit. You can only trade if the text is green. When you try something like 20000 Influence for 1 technology it stays yellow. So how is it possible to exploit it at all? I have to admit that I was curious and tried the 1 Influence thingy - it worked, so maybe that was it.

What do you thing about a warning? appearing whenever you do something the metaverse will recognize as cheating.

What he means is that if you get too rich too early in the game, ie by trading stuff to aliens for cash, then you may get an anomalous score.

Thanks for the advice! I can't remember if I did that, but I surely will avoid it in the future.
