It's finally out!

I just wanted to alert the Galactic Civilizations community that my good/evil mod has finally arrived. Over 20 new techs and 20 new improvements are here for your gaming pleasure. You can get the mod here: http://www.galciv.com/library.asp

Will they make your Metaverse scores invalid?
Not that mine matter much anyway.

Nah, Carielf ran them through a game, and since she seems to have put them up, they should be fine. I don't really have many PQ enhancing improvs.

Question... It's not been explicitly stated anywhere that I can find... (or maybe I didn't look hard enough :))
If a mod is put up in the library, does that indicate that they don't unblance the game? And hence Metaverse submissions will likely not be anomalous? Does anyone have a definative statement on the subject? Carielf or Frogboy would be a good someone. :)

Yes, all mods that get listed have been tested by Cari or Brad as necessary.

Speaking of which, everybody should go download my mods too, which go great with Nand1's :P

Master modder H50 has said that being in the library just means that Stardock looked at them to make sure they work properly. It's not a guarantee that they will be compatible with the Metaverse. Especially not if you do multiple mods in the same game.

Well I know that Cari definately *started* playtesting mine (with Nand1's first mod, I think) to make sure it wouldn't set off the anomolous trap. I don't know if she ever went back and finished though, since the work she was compiling finished before she got done testing :notsure:

In any case, I use mine with Nand1's first pack (of Empire-wide resort and Life seeding fame) and I've never gotten an anomolous from it. Still, I'm not too sure how much more +PQs you can add on (it isn't that close since I got worms on a 20 PQ planet then built all the +PQ improvements too, with no trouble) before you hit the trigger. Just use your judgement and don't use ridiculous amounts of +PQ mods :P

I've played unmodded games that the precursor event hit the same planet twice and with all pq improvements
the rating was 72.This didn't set the anamalous flag and posted fine.My last game I had 3 or 4 planets(out of 80 some, gigantic) in the 50's and it also posted fine.I've also played games with all mods downloaded from library and several that I'm currently play testing and have not recieved anomalous score from them.Only anomalous score I got I set off by too much cash flag by tech whoring.
Currently I have about 180 techs in my games.I will try yours nand1 when I'm thru testing my own.
I only add couple at a time so if I get anomalous score I know which ones caused it and then I rework them till they work correctly.

Strikes me as somewhat ironic to see the name Kyp Durron with an angelic icon....
