game crashes!!

i bought the german version of the game on cd.
i guess the cd wasn't good because i had problems reading it and i had to copy the entire cd on my hdd befor installing it(for about 50 minutes, although my cd is very good and i had no such problems with it untill now). that is not all: it happens very often that the game exits without any warrning after i press the 'turn'-button. i really like the game but it is getting annoying to load the autosave every 10 min or so!
if anyone has an idea why this happens, please help me!

Assuming your installation isn't corupted (worst case senario) install the update patches (1.05 and then 1.10) available from Stardock Central . . . this should fix almost all your problems . . .

Well, if you haven't already started re-installing, you could just patch your german version with the links in my sticky thread "Getting Anomaly crashes? Look here"

Otherwise, the clean install should fix the problem, too, since the file that was corrupted was in the german version, but SDC didn't update it because 1.1 didn't modify it.
