Welcome, Jack LEagle! I noticed you put your name down as "John Casey"--are you by any chance related to the Fellowship's Michael Casey?

You've got to be close to FA, Ray. One or two more games--unless Stardock has done something funky like requiring FA to be the top-ranked player or something.

Wow have we've got a big lead. I'll almost feel guilty about submitting my next game--almost! :)

Good morning folks!

Yes, we had a load of fun yesterday! I thought that craziness was over, but it looks like there's a lot of empire changing going on. Well, I've never felt like anyone should be tied to an empire too much. This is all just for fun and if you don't feel like you're having fun, jump empires!

I only got about an hour in last night on my Gig/Maso. The Fundies hit again, wiping out the Altarians and vaulting the Yor to the top of the heap. However; it did affect them so I am now the #2 power! Things are going very well, as I'm picking up resources all over the place! Still keeping everybody at war with each other.

Ray, I think you should try to get Fleet Admiral. I thought it was around 375,000 points for FA. That should only be a couple more games...

Well, I'm going to be out of the office for several hours today visiting customers. :notsure: I'll probably be back on the forums this afternoon (about 5-6 hours from now).

Thanks for the kind words, Theo and vincible.

It's really something, the changes in the metaverse since I'd last been here. Cotal is absolutely on *fire*, Ray's semi-retired, and unless the rosters are really shaken up the Fellowship is assured first for some time. Looks like the Midwesterners are coming back to give GROOS some grief as well.

...and Staffa is on the verge of being tossed out of the top 25.

Ray, Have you ever played . . . Dungeon Keeper 2?

I think I know you well enough to say that I know you'd love it! You kinda need to take on an evil persona to play it, you create a dungeon (carved out around your 'dungeon heart by imps), fill it with a miriad of unholy beings (you can play goodies if you like too as well though), build various ammenities and attack other keepers and complete quests . . .

It's kept my interest since it came out in 1999. Replayability 11/10 . . . it rocks and best of all it's multiplayer . . . you can play against others on the net too (gotta be gosu, very challenging indeed)

Not to mention it has 'possesion' . . . you can actually posses a member of your small army during battle and fight along side of the critteres you've created . . . as a wizard etc etc . . .

I can send you some screen shots and other parafinalia if you like? :)
