Anyone else started crashing more with the new full expansion?

I've started crashing to the desktop evey 10-15 minutes ad I've never had that happen before. This is just after updating from the beta build to the non-beta of Gal Civ.

* OS: Win XP Home SP1
* Directx 9.0B
* Processor: Athlon XP 2700+ (333 MHz bus)
* Motherboard: Asus A7N8X
* Bios Rev: Version 1004
* NForce II drivers: 2.45
* Memory: Corsair 1 Gig DDR 3500 CL2
* Timings: 6-2-2-2
* Video Card: ATI Radeon 9800 Pro Cat 3.6
* Sound Card: SB Audigy 2 (latest non-beta drivers)
* 3 IBM Hard Drives: ATA 100 - 80 Gig 7200 rpm
* Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 2060u - 22”
* Pioneer DVD Drive

I crash every time I try to hit the information button for my Hero class ship. This is a real bummer since this means I can't set it to auto-survey. Strange thing is, the beta was rock solid for me. Oh well, I'm sure they'll fix it soon.

Yep... I have this one savegame that I can't play because the year after it loads, the UP Issue comes up and it crashes. Doesn't seem to matter what UP Issue, it just crashes moments after the UP screen comes up. CTD situation, very clearly connected to the UP Issue Vote screen in my case.

Oddly enough, I haven't had one of the CTD's from the Ship info screen. Auto-Survey works fine, but I don't like it now because of all the space beasts! Way too frequent!

My Rangers also chrashed the system, and sometimes when I am doing research and hit the end turn button more than 5 times on a row, it CTD also.

I too am getting a CTD when I try and get info on my survey class ship. Stupid space shark came out of an anomaly and killed the USS Hero, so I built two more. but, when I try and hit info on one of them, I get a CTD.
