not so random event error?

i've just had the game crash twice on the same turn. i've had random crashes like this before, but i just thought it was because of some random event mod that was screwing up. but now its crashed twice at the same time, so i'm thinking its not so random. i glanced through the error log, which i have NO idea about, and the only thing i noticed was this line:

ASSERT ERROR in file G:\PROJECTS\pear\SOURCE\MWIN.CPP at line 397.

does anyone know what the heck is going on?

Jogorhan, please zip the .sav file and the corresponding folder for the save game that can reproduce this crash and I'll try to figure out what's going on.

well, i tried it again and it worked fine. i'm guessing its a mod i downloaded from the library, no idea how to tell which one though
