Evil Empire's infernal thread

ok, i did it; the first evil-only empire is now open (to evil people only of course)!!!

the rules are simple, you must have an overall morality of ether "chaotic evil", or "very evil" -anyone with a good, neutral, or no morality (because they haven’t submitted any games yet), are not allowed to stay in this empire. every few days, i will go through the empire, deleting anyone who does not have an evil morality. if you are deleted, it does not mean that you are banned, it just means that i wont let you stay in my empire until your overall morality becomes evil again. members are still allowed to play and submit games with a "good" morality, however, just make sure that your "good" and "neutral" games don’t change your morality to anything other then "evil".

i will be looking for some empire admins once a few people join my empire. if you do become an empire admin, one of your duties will be to delete any "neutral", "good" and no morality members.

if you are evil, come join the metaverse’s first “evil-only” empire. who knows, you just might get lucky and become an empire admin ;)

Went to Toronto few years back in feb. Bl***y cold! Rode up the little tower and did a bit of shopping, but nothing else to do there. Was loads of snow around then. If i remember corectly it was same year there was a really bad freeze and everything stopped.

actually, i never been to montreal, but from what i heard from my freinds that have been there, its more fun then toronto. you dont need to know a word of french to live in the city -a lot of people speak english there, and driving is no problem since all the street signs look just like their english counterpart -except they have french wordings.

will keep that in mind. thanks

I don't like that seperateist movement that's been going on in Quebec. Not just because of the huge economic plunge that would occur after, but it seems somewhat ungrateful. I mean, the English could've deported the lot of them back to France after they won. But instead they let them have a sizable chunk of land and let them keep to themselves. And in doing so, prevented Washington from convincing the French to help them with their huge rebellion that formed the United States. Which in turn helped Canada to continue to exist, otherwise all of North America would be one big happy superpower right now.

I went through it four times. I know how it is...

HUH! Typical male. :p

I actually went through it, twice.
Both times at home, with just a mid wife.
For the second one, she was too late.
Just my husband and I alone.
Very moving experience.
The most significant experience of our lives.

It really bonded the three of us. (Our first child slept through it all)

Not a bit like on the TV or movies.

i have to laugh at the story of when my father was born. my grandmother gave birth to him at home with a midwife present, and a doctor "kinda" present. my grandmother grew up with the doctor, and she used to have a crush on him when they where younger -she was too embaressed to let her childhood crush see her in labour, so she didnt allow the doctor into the room. she ended up giving birth to a 11 pound baby with no anesthetic.

My first son was 10 pounds. My well, ex now, had more anesthetics than you could count. As for four times, it was three of my own, then my daughter in law with my grandaughter. Believe me the teenage years will make the births seem like childsplay :D

Won my second. Took the easy way out. The Drengin were bigger than me and we had wiped out all others. I saw it coming and researched alliance real quick. Whew, made it. But best of all I got the wicked icon :D

Gee, even evil overlords have mommies... :D ;)

Lord Megatron: Thanks. It felt close as the Drengin had a huge chunk of the map. Luckily I always try to be friendly with them so I was in good status. I changed research to alliance just as they swooped in on the carinoids. I got it the turn after they took the carinoids, proposed the alliance and whew...they accepted. Otherwise it would have been a long drawn out finish.

Aww, you run from pure evil? I checked it near the end of the game and it said demonic....cool

I haven't checked that in a while, but I usually end up pure evil. It's the best. I had to do the same exact thing. It was the Yor and they destroyed everyone in their path leaving the Carnoids, the Alexians, and the Arceans. The Alexians were the first to go followed by the Arceans then I took the Carnoids. I was once allied with the Yor but they wanted me to enter the war with the Arceans even though I wasn't properly prepared to I broke the alliance and went after the Carnoids. When it was just me Yor and I left I had to make an alliance, they controlled 2/3 of the map whereas I was left with the other 1/3. Luckly they agreed and I rose to power through corruption and extortion. Their leader didn't see it coming >:( .

So yea, there are times when I even need to cut my loses and call it a draw.

I still don't know how to do the cultural flip :(

run around with three terrorstars maxed with cultural abilities (at least party palace). send them into a neutral sector and wait for the flipping to begin :) works everytime ive ever tried it. plus if they dont flip you can just DESTROY them. mwhahahahaha :HOT:

I haven't even been able to get that far along yet. I am still playing on the medium. This last game went so fast I did not even get battleships. :( It was an odd map with the Drengin getting the best bit to start in. The others had terrible positions. Mine was not bad and I am sure someone more experienced could have done better. I keep forgetting to play with the sliders. I leapt out well seizing lots of territory. I should have consolidated what I had, cranked some research and then I would have been a bit stronger. Maybe. The Drengin did have a huge chunk. I am happy with my victory though. I feel I snatched a win when I probably would have been soundly thrashed by my new found allies.

Hmmm, I wonder if they know what coup de'etat means... :D

if your finding the games go by too quickly, increase the difficulty, that way the games last longer. i havent played in awhile (stupid "new" computer >:( ), but what i did was that i kept increasing the difficulty until the AI's were succesfully invading my systems. once i was at that point in the game, i knew that the AI was at a good level for me.

now all i have to do is find some money to make my computer better, then i will have something fun to do other then study ahead during the christmas holidays :(

I have been playing on medium galaxy with the ai's set to beginner and then for the second I bumped up 2 of them to sub-normal.

My problem is forgetting to tweak the sliders. I jumped out grabbed a lot of systems and then fortified my systems some. I then mined a couple of resource areas.

I am thinking of jumping to a large galaxy to increase the time so I can see more of the techs. This last game I was in a very weak position for the end game. The Drengin were quite powerful in comparison as I had fallen behind in techs. I decided the best course was to go for an alliance win rather than risk a loss.

I have not tried the governor at all yet so I micro every system.

What is wrong with your pc?
Try to use more the governor, that will liberate your attention to other areas of the game. Try to start using Normal and check the differences in the games when you set AI all to evil, or all to pure good, or half and half, you will find the games alittle bit more challenging. ;)
