ok, i did it; the first evil-only empire is now open (to evil people only of course)!!!

the rules are simple, you must have an overall morality of ether "chaotic evil", or "very evil" -anyone with a good, neutral, or no morality (because they haven’t submitted any games yet), are not allowed to stay in this empire. every few days, i will go through the empire, deleting anyone who does not have an evil morality. if you are deleted, it does not mean that you are banned, it just means that i wont let you stay in my empire until your overall morality becomes evil again. members are still allowed to play and submit games with a "good" morality, however, just make sure that your "good" and "neutral" games don’t change your morality to anything other then "evil".

i will be looking for some empire admins once a few people join my empire. if you do become an empire admin, one of your duties will be to delete any "neutral", "good" and no morality members.

if you are evil, come join the metaverse’s first “evil-only” empire. who knows, you just might get lucky and become an empire admin ;)

hmmmmm... has anyone tried stuffing in an animated gif?
then the logos could cycle while you're veiwing the page.
(of course it would only look cool if it cycled very slowly)

I've seen that requirement, but still I wonder if we might sneak past the guards. Make an animated gif with a few logos that rotate every 4 seconds, then change the extension to .jpg to sneak it in....
naughty, but could it work? your browser should be able to handle it by reading the file's header info

I just read the "Galciv" road map on the main page. I'm getting really excited. Although not just about the game itself but the changes in the metaverse. For example:

give Empires their own specific awards and medals

This is going to get a lot more interesting. If the expansion doesn't come out to retail I might have to pre-order it. I may need to do that sooner rather than later :notsure:

I am in favour of the rotation of logo...for a trial period.
The auto rotate one sounds interesting.

Mind you. I think the current one is great. Hard to better.

That upstart creating another evil empire might be bribed into joining us, if we said we would use his logo. No need to mention that it would not be for all the time. (evil grin) We need a smiley for that.

As I have said before, I think there are too many chiefs.
It might upset some people to be forcibly demoted and cause them to leave.
Volunteers would be okay.

Who is this evil empire that needs to be bribed? There is no need for that.

Let's get two polls started:

1) Rotating logo

2) Overhaul senate (remember some senators may be asked to step down)

I vote yes on both, and in doing so I have agreed that if the decision is made to overhaul senate, and if I was asked to step down I would.

We must keep the senate at an odd number for voting purposes (even number of senators with the emperor's vote as the deciding)

what would be a good number for the senate?
also, just wondering, what would happen if an emperor steps down to an overloard? does the next highest person in the senate automatically become the new emperor? i dont plan on going anywhere, but while i was laying in bed last night, i was wondering what would happen if an emperor did do that.

That's an interesting question. Are you refering to if you left the empire, who would become the emperor? I hope rather than that we can vote who to elect.

i still cant believe it, we actually beat g.r.o.s.s.

as of now on, every Dec. 4 will be a statutory holiday -it will be called "Imaginos Day", since because of him joining, we have beat g.r.o.s.s. LOL

Yes. but only rotate once a day, in four day cycles otherwise no. it would be too hard to remember which logo to look for!

I've had some time to think of it, and I vote no for both. We really should spend less time on worrying about Empire infrastructure and more time submitting games. Mind you, it has been losing it's appeal as of late.

Lord Megatron, I will be sending you my mods very soon. I've updated all of them except for the Good/Evil mod with fixes and something new, but I haven't been able to update them in the library, so this is a very good oppuortunity for me.

Also, I am for overhauling the Evil Empire. The empire has grown substantially and looks to keep on growing. I think there should be 6 council members not including the Emporer and that the emporer should get two votes. Only the council should be able to vote on laws unless there is a tie in the council, then the vote will be expanded to include the rest of the empire.

Nand1 there is no rush for mods :) site goes live on sat and includes all required links for uploading mods (basically my email). have also included a comments section on the links page, where you can send me comments on site if you wish. have also changed graphics here and there and added few other bits.
