Odd forum behaviour

If you want to go back to the thread index, the quickest way is to click on the line "Go Back To Message Board" at the bottom of every thread page. Assuming you've read the page in question, you'll be right there anyways.

I find it easiest to simply open threads in new windows by right clicking on the thread title from the message board page. Then when I want to refresh the list, I simply refresh the main message board window instead of having to go back to the board with additional loading time in between each and every thread.

I get that problem too, but I just press back twice and it takes me to the main forums.

In IE and some other browsers, cookies allow the browser to center on the newest post on the last page you were on. Mozilla does not.

Forum.asp takes at least 3 arguments:
BID: GF=Galatic Forum, GC=Strategy Forum, GM=Mod Forum
id: determines the thread and page number
#: determines the post that is being centered on

In IE, it's a two step process. In the first step, the browser adds two arguments, BID and id. In the second step, the browser adds the third argument, #.

IE thinks that you just visited two different pages, so the go back button takes to the end of the first step.

I agree with Kit. Forget about browser hijinks. Just keep an eye on the inmates of this asylum.

I can't seem to use the greater/less than signs. It refuses to print them? Care to explain that?

are you using them in pairs? less than followed by greater than? That is html coding.
