Access Levl Problem

Hi Folks!!!!!
I just read through the page describing the WC Access Categories. According to the list:

Level 1: Exiled
Level 2: Visitors
Level 3: Citizens
Level 4: Apperantice/Master Apperantice
Level 5: Journeymen
Level 6: Master
Level 7: Moderator
Level 8: Administrator

I used to be a Master Apprentice on the Old WC Site and my access level was 4 but on the current site it is being shown on Level 3. Have I been demoted or is it some sort of server glitch??????

but the others are about USER LEVELS not ACCESS LEVELS ..... so how can they be simmillar????

Oh and least I forget why do some seem to be able to upload and some like myself upload only to have it disappear a short time later? Is their somehow more than one site-seems to me if it works for bob it would work for tommy?

So excuse my ignorance-since the two are the same why does my profile show me as access level 1 and user level 3?


Look what Jafo has said that people have often confused the user level and access levels.
There are five (In practice four) user levels. See the details of them at: Link

and there are eight (08) Access Levels as I describer above. I Hope this will clear the things to some extend. :-s

Ok, I can't make sence of this. A couple of days ago my profile said I had userlevel 3. Today it says I have userlevel 4. But if I click on cross reference I it says I'm userlevel 3.
Tried to create my personal page, but it said I didn't have appropriate access. The profile page says I have AccessID 1, whatever that means.
I take it that the userlever/useraccess is still beeing worked on to get fixed?

User level is the level that you have access through.  (ie: if you have purchased anything, or if you are a WC subscriber, etc.)  This is the level that gives you certain perks and determines how much you can download.

AccessID is the "rank" that you are at.  Ignore the 1-8 list as I think it's not right (especially since I am a "9")  A lot of that is still being "sorted".
