Exp. Pack Question.

I have 2 question ihope get answered. How will i beable to download The exp pack becuase if it is thorugh dragon.net(whatever it is) then i will have to pay for it cuase i bot the game retial. will the exp pack give the game a ship editor(Cuase i like it REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY NEEDS ONE)?

I will take a shot at this one...

The expansion pack will be free when it is done.
If you want to play a beta and just not drool on the window, then become a member of the derigeon (sp) network. There is a cost to the network, I think the cost is $20. I personally am waiting, but understand why others are not.

Since the polls are just NOW asking about ship editors, I doubt if it will show up on the expansion pack due "late summer" this year which should mean before 9/22, since that is the start of fall.

How were those answers folks? :)

Good try, Llaamaboy. :)

Ryan, click on the purchase tab and upgrade to Drengin network for $30. You will get access to the Betas of the Xpack before the rest of us. The release version will be out for everyone sometime end of summer. You will also get access to a number of other SD products under Drengin.net.

Ship design is still very much under consideration. I doubt it would be part of the Xpack. Could be a much later version or Galciv2.

Bobo know is no such thing as GalCiv FPS and him only ape. Bobo say to Ryan: keep shorts on and will get expansion pack free. If must have fast, pay money for Beta. If not having money, wait and good things come free.

*the below description of galciv2 is a figment of my imagination

my favorite feature shown at e3 was the rpg and diplomacy parts mixed in where you can bargain with a arcean and buy a new gun using various amounts of aphrodesiac and credits. using influence points you can convince the local drengin thug to kill the arcean and get your money back. however, the local gang of altarians will consider you evil (when you look into mirrors you will look more and more evil: crooked teeth, dark shadows under your eyes, red leather clothing, chains, etc.) they will attack you at any opportunity, which is a bit unfair. great, i decide to take a contract on someone's life *once* and i'm evil.or you can be peaceful and go work for the torians as a cook chopping up and roasting some weird meat with delicious skin at their shop. when the human health inspector random event comes in you can help the torians cover up what the meat is, do nothing, or sell them out. each choice has its own unique benefits and consequences.i do have issues with possible game balance issues, such as when you immediately come face to face with the 500 draginol army when you only have your pencil to defend yourself with, but most of the hardcore board memebers told me that i "should try different strategies" and "adapt".the part i don't like is the way it will be scored. i have no idea what the system is sued, but me and 7% of the board agree that it is unfair to them.

Well, the very first FPS (Castle Wolvenstein, Doom, etc...) were shareware. Maybe that's why :)

ah, doom, i remember blazing through those levels with god mode on, and unlimited ammo. such fond memories :D
