if reports from the fleet patroling the Outer Fringes are to be belived, then we may still have a prototype terror star somewhere in the Maw Cluster. unfortunately the presence of several black holes is causing many navigational problems.

the fleet will keep you informed of their progress on obtaining this.

Wow - I devoted the better part of a vacation day yesterday to cruising around here and updating the website, and I'm STILL falling behind...

1. Nice name changes to our Fleet members and, of course, to "Essex Ascendant." Nifty! Not only an impressive GalCiv nick and an homage to your Jedi rank, but it also sounds like a good name for a British battleship!

2. Congrats on the promotions all around. I'll be spending some time tonight or tomorrow to get all of these changes on the website...and HOPEFULLY to finish the last game that I started in Germany. I'd like to get 'em posted before the latest update arrives from Stardock.

3. Repeating a note to my longtime friend PiersKazanski from his other thread, just in case he stops here first:

A further thought. Your persona is/was an Imperial officer - but your job duties were never precisely defined. You're in the Army now, pal. How about "General Piers Kazanski?" You can run the "1st Spaceborne Division" of the Jedi Republic. Somebody needs to be in charge of the ground troops...

*Fleet News*

News from the Sluis Van Shipyards

We have begun construction of the republics newest, and largest Cultural Palace. Roughly the size of a small moon, this engineering marvel, when built, will become the spearhead for our latest recruitment drive!

Secret plans are believed to be in place to send this Cultural Palace through all of our neighbouring civilizations territory. When faced with this "Terror Star" it is believe that this will have cause to efect a cultural turning (sometimes known as a cultural bombing) of their inhabitants. Thus leading to a brighter future for those who seek harmony in the force.

So far we have completed only the first ten percent of the Palace, but with a proposed visit by Jedi Master Obi-wan Kenobi (Hoorah) in little over a week, we are stepping up production.

We will try to keep all Jedi Knights and their Padawans updated as soon as there is further news.
