Getting Skins 3-D and Reflectiony

Well, Id like to start skinning as it looks like a lot of fun. I will soon get PSP9 (I actually have the trial version), and I was wondering how you guys make all the skins, icons, wallpapers, etc. to look so 3-d and reflection-like. take for example that Cry64 Genesis icon set. HOw do you get those effects? Thanks!

Zybiadorban, the Cyro64 icons were created with a 3D program and then edited with a graphic program (possibly PS or PSP) but you can do a Goggle search for PSP Tutorials, I'm sure you'll find enough information to get you started on the creation of images for wallpapers, icons and skins. Then is up to you to put a touch of 'magic' as china said.

Well, I was mainly talking about that glass effect I see on all spherical icons. I was just wondering how to make that in PSP9. And a 3-D progarm eh? Is it free? Id like to be able to make those types of things. IF its not free, what are some good 3-D programs?

The Glass effect is rather simple to make. Here is a quick tutorial for PS7, but you can also use it for PSP http://www.voidix.com/glassorb.html
