WinCustomize's New Look: Will there be different themes for it?

As some of us my know, you can change the way WinCustomize look by going to the web page that changes the theme of the site:
https://www.wincustomize.com/index.asp?Cmd=themes

What I am wondering is that will the new WC2005 will have the same abilities and if more themes are in the works.

As far as the site look for the new WinCustomize I think its ok (GUI wise) but is totally excellent UI (user interface) wise. It is far more navigatable that this version of WinCustomize. I tend to send people to the mirror site of this site (I think its XP Themes or something) because for those new to desktop customization (skinning) it can be overwhelming to come here.

But with the new site layout, I think many people will understand where to go to get stuff.

Over all I am excited about the new look and the future for skinning and sites like WinCustomize.

What do yall think???

I would like to see the Themes change according to the WB chosen, not sure how feaseble that would be, but cool none the less.

I think they said no. Maybe some very minor things.

I personally think the colours could be improved upon.  I find predominantly 'white' sites an eye-strain if viewed for any length of time...[and I'm on this site for a 'length of time']....

I agree Jafo...the bright colors are hard on the eyes...I like the darker look of the present site.

@ Jafo

No to what WOM? Site themes or site themes that change depending on your windowblind skin?

You know, that gives me an idea, what a cool site you could go to if it changed depending on what skin your using... I might be able to do that with DX scripting and Vehicle Worlds. Then again, the user would have to allow the program to see what site they are on or ready the site cookies or something. At least with DX, the program is already on the computer and a click from inside the theme would just take you to the site with that theme shown.

Jafo - if you could email me a mockup of the color scheme you'd like I can make sure it becomes a high priority.

Now, with regards to site themes and the like, the answer is that non-subscribers will NOT be able to switch themes. It'll be a subscriber fetaure. The reason is that the new site is very very dependent on caching for its new performance gains. If eveyrone has a different color scheme, it puts a lot more strain on the CPU.

I'll take a guess. Jafo's mock-up will be predominantly gray?

Jafo does like Jafo... and the color gray.
I personally like myself... and the color green (light green)

For this site, I like using the Mud Theme...so I guess I'm used to gray/grey...it's easier on my eyes too.

Most people doesnt seem to care about the loading speed of a site, only the look.
Personally I couldnt give a flying pigsh(bleeep)t about the looks of a site - but thats just me I guess....
