No, don't delete it.. be glad that's it's been accepted and leave everything there as a personal record.
Ratings don't mean much anyway. It's the comments that people make that are more worthwhile.

Deleteing low rated work doesnt make you a better skinner

No, you dont get promoted based on rating. You get promoted on quality of work.

Quality and ratings are different things in the eyes of the public.

Well then we will also need the quality section.

Heres a solution: Make bettah skins, and you'll get better ratings!

The point I'am trying to make is that making skins isn't the only way to get promoted. Being a positive influence and helping people will get you promoted. But also keep skinning and you will become better and your ratings will go up.

Skin ratings have nothing to do with getting promoted.

By showing yourself to be a positive contributor to the skinning community as a whole and/or Wincustomize.com in particular...

UzEE, if you look in my skin selection you will notice I have more then a few (6) ratings. It's not always a case of lack of work or quality either. Sometimes you make something that does not agree with some people and they will rate you low without really looking it over. Not a problem though. It all comes together in the long run with the higher ratings evening things out.
Do not get rid of anything. They are all memories of what you have accomplished since you started skinning.

Look at how many downloads your artworks have gotten, now compare hat to how many comments were made. That huge difference is alot of people that are intrested in your work, but don't bother to comment. That has to equate to some kind of appreciation and respect. There is a whole bunch of us that are "artistically chalenged" that have to rely on people like you that are willing to share your creations. I, for one wouldn't want you to remove any of your works from this site.

Yeah.. keep it all and it will make you more pleased with your later accomplishments.
At the advent of the new site, ALL my rejected items were showing up. Looking back at them and what I do now showed a very positive growth pattern. Besides, you might want to reference those old items someday for some other purpose.

Maybe you guys are right too. the aare memories...

Just because they are rated 6 or below, does not mean people won't enjoy them. Ratings mean nothing if someone enjoys using your skin.

Yeah, Deleate them.

You'll feel clean and refreshed...

It's a marked improvement on when you first came to this site from what I remember. Keep it up!

I think patience is also a good quality to have. It may take year(s) to earn a propmotion based on what I've seen go on here.

Only skins I uploaded then deleted were the test time scheme "metric time".

look.. if i can get promoted .. anybody can..... ... just bide your time and be a positive influence on others here ...and in time i imagine you will get promoted, if you show your self to be an asset to WC.


i have also wondered if i should remove some of my screen shots to free up server storage space ...not for rateings improvements .. but simply because, i hate to waste space...
