Shareware WindowsBlinds not Loading Desktop?

I currently have the shareware WindowBlinds 4.3 (build 142), and it does not load the desktop/background supplied with a *.wba file. Is it a problem with my system/setup, or is it one of the shareware limitations? Thanks.

You didn't mention which WindowBlind you were having difficulty with...it might help...there are a couple of skins that (if you read the comments for them) outline a solution for any download problems they have found...one of the solutions is to....instead of just opening the download file....save it to your desktop and change the file type to .zip and then run it....

This is just one possible solution...as I said, you didn't mention which one you were having trouble with...I hope this helps

As far as I know, the shareware version cannot run on startup, you have the load Windowblinds manually.

are you referring to the background picture?(bitmap?)
if so, some windowblinds don't come with the wallpaper that is seen on the preview. unless it states otherwise your best bet if the wallpaper is the problem, is to ask the author where to obtain the wall.

In the windowblinds configuration settings there is a box you need to check, which says "apply any wallpaper supplied". I don't know whether that option is available in the shareware version.
