New to SD and I need a lil help...

As I said, I'm new to SD, and I'd really appreciate some help. I'd like to find out some information on how u guys create these awesome skins and how I should go about trying to do the same. I know it's not just something u can do all of a sudden I'm sure, but I'm willing to work at it, and am very interested. well...you need a graphics editor(photoshop,paintshop etc...),Skinstudio for doing windowblinds and windows media player skins....lots of tutorials around...skinners here and Skinartistry for advice.Quickway to start is wallpapers and Object Dock icons.

Another QuickStart would be BootSkins...Start with a Wall and make a BootSkin from it.

Welcome!! First, have you purchesed object desktop yet? You get a large list of apps to get you started "skinning". Then you will need to choose a photo editor of your choice and budget. Good luck and have fun.
