DesktopX and components: it ain`t so, baby

DesktopX, WindowBlinds, BootSkin, just overinflated apps in terms of functionality I`m afraid. I am now just as happy as can be with StyleXP. (hey, it rhymes) Problems? I was disappointed with DesktopX having to be set to initiate at startup in order for the theme to be loaded. Once StyleXP sets a theme, it`s set whether StyleXP is loaded or not. BootSkin is a wonderful program if you like programs that will only work one time and then nothing after that. CursorXP is the least objectionable of the DesktopX components I suppose, but it did screw up my default xp icons a little bit.

Correction, I meant to say that CursorXP screwed up my default xp cursors. I have my resolution set at 800 by 600. I used DesktopX to set a theme, then after going back to me default desktop settings, my desktop grid became screwed up which was corrected after restarting.

How are you comparing StyleXP to DeskTopX? are you meaning WindowBlinds?

...because trust me, StyleXP has nothing to offer to compare with DesktopX.

I beleive you need to look more into Stardock Products.

TroxxellX obviously hasn't learned how to use DesktopX, Windowblinds, Cursor XP, etc. and needs some instruction.

Remove the xx from the name and you get TrollX.

It doesn't have to be set to load at startup. How else is a program supposed to run unless it is running?

BootSkin is a wonderful program if you like programs that will only work one time and then nothing after that.


You got a point there. Perhaps bootskin should randomly restart your computer so you can see the bootskin more often. DUMBASS!
