You need the program called WindowBlinds, to install any of the skins, just download and install it

Well, let's start with what you downloaded.. Is it from the Suites section? Which skins are included? What programs have you installed? If you have the proper applications installed you should be able to apply the various parts of the theme using the theme manager app. All of the sections on the site have a link at the top of the page that tells you what app you need to install in order to get the specific skins to work. In the case of a suite, you need ALL of the programs for the skins included in the suite. If you can post some more details I'm sure you'll get the help you need, but you need to be more specific than you downloaded a skin and it doesn't work..

Good Luck!!

You gotta be a little more specific since none of us are there and we can't see your problem.

And of course you got the free ones...the iboni suite is free.

Okay, here is how to solve your problem. Tell us which programs you installed. And the name and from which library you got a skin that you want to install. You are probably still hiding the file extensions by default. So, its impossible to help you without specific information about what skin you are trying to install with which program. Maybe its the wrong program even.

Ok, let's take it from the top.
If you want to apply an entire theme (in this case the Iboni theme) you'll need WinStyle which you can get here -> https://www.stardock.com/products/winstyles/ BUT in order for WinStyle to apply all the skins contained in the suite, you'll need to download and install the application program for each skin.
Here is a list of the programs and the download link of each.

-WindowBlinds https://www.stardock.com/order.asp?product=Windowblinds
-BootSkin http://www.bootskin.com/
-CursorXP http://www.cursorxp.com/purchase.html
-IconPackager https://www.stardock.com/products/iconpackager
-LogonStudio https://www.stardock.com/products/logonstudio/download.html
-SysMetrix http://www.xymantix.com/sysmetrix/download.html
-Winamp http://www.winamp.com/download/
-WinMedia http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/en/default.asp
-Rainlendar http://www.ipi.fi/~rainy/index.php?pn=projects&project=rainlendar

Once you have download and installed all there programs, download the Iboni Suite and use WinStyle to apply all of the skins.

**Keep in mind that some of these programs are freeware and others are demo/trial versions and you will need to purchase them after the trail time expires. Also, the trial versions dont allowe you to use or see some of the features.

I hope this helps

Sounds like it could be a DesktopX theme
