GUI Olympics questions

I have a few questions about GUI Olympics rules and I guess other may have too, so I started this thread trying to concetrate all doubst in just one place.

My questions are:

1- In the rules of the contest, when you say "The other two judges from Stardock will come from the community".

Question: What oud be the criterium for choosing those persons?

2- Again, In the rules of the contest, when you say "All skins and icons must be new. They can't be something that's existed on any other site previously. They also must be exclusive to the GUI Olympics (i.e. you can't go uploading them around the net)"

Not even to Wincustomize.com, like in the 2002 contest?

good questions Treetog..

The second one is one I was really wondering about myself with working on my first skin ever. I dunno if I need to hang onto it or can I submit it and still enter it?

Then I have a question too, not sure if it is the same as treetog's one:
The other 2 judges from the community, are they still allowed to enter stuff?

I think judges will not and should not be allowed to enter stuff.

Well, I think that the guys from pixtudio shouldn't be a judge in that case.

Stardock will be selecting the judges from the community.  And we are already in the process of talking to the candidates.  And of course, judges will not be allowed to participate in the contest itself.

And all submissions must be new.  So if they have been submitted to WinCustomize or to GUIOlympics 2002 then they do not qualify for GUIOlympics 2004.

On a side note, I'm slowly getting www.guiolympics.com revived.  I have the Forums working so don't forget to hop over to http://www.guiolympics.com/forums.asp and fire up some discussions over there!

Pat, I am sorry, I was not clear enough on my question...*#@%#&* darn poor English!

When I said about the submitons, I was talking about new ones.

What I would like to know is: When submiting a new skin to GUI Olympics 2004, can we also upload it over Wincustomize right after that?

Oh, I see what you mean.  No,  you should not upload it to WinCustomize.  After the GUIOlympics are over we will take care of making the skins available on WinCustomize.  There will be more information on this later.

Randy, I spoke to Pat about that and he told me, that he is not sure yet, but he thinks that very probably the size will be the same of the last GUI Olympics.

Care to share those dimensions with us Thanks
