Feelings...woe...woe...woe...feelings...

Feelings...woe...woe...woe...feelings...

I used to be such an emotional menace to this site. Say ten hail WC's I ain't around much! !

Let’s face it; people have feelings (well, MOST anyhow) ESPECIALLY NEW PEOPLE. WOW do they have feelings! And I was and still am one of those poor suckers! It would help if the person who stomped on my heart would kindly lift his foot from it by now! ().

Anyway, I’m still putting my vote in for innovation towards how skins and walls are not only rated but maybe even the comments/criticisms too. I haven’t been participating much as of late (at least as ME ) but I’d just like to give my own bit of a suggestion and see what folks think of it or want to add or subtract from it but here goes k?

These are just what-if suggestions and in no means in ANY way meant to say my ideas are better than anyone else’s or that they are even deemed necessary rather…these are just my friendly and thought-out suggestions and I know stuff like this takes recoding and recoding takes time and time=money…so I fully under$tand that part too.

ANYWAY…back to this…

What if there was a bit more categories by which to judge a skin other than by rate alone? So that an author knew where his strengths and weaknesses were? Something like:

Overall color comp: 1-10
Overall usability: 1-10
Overall appeal: 1-10

Than add the total as 8.2 or whatever the mathematical outcome (oh I hate math don’t tease). -But that way even if someone decided NOT to comment that rated him…he’d still see where his overall weaknesses and strengths were in his skin/wall etc and still get an idea of what he needed to improve on.

Then add a comments section that maybe gives you the option to critique or compliment… or both…

Your overall critique:

Your overall compliments:

And then there’s the thing about my own personal…”life get’s in the way thing” I must admit I’d still love to have an “I’m available” emoticon or I’m “Gone” emoticon next to all of my skins in case I’m gone on vacation so folks know I’m not dissin’ them…ah but now I’m pushing the envelope.

Anyway…((((((HUGS))))) and **********SMOOCHES***********

I will never forget the first time waking up and finding a handful of my hair on my pillow

I can *so* relate to that one!  The first time that my hair fell out my hair was very long.  I woke up with my hand wrapped in my hair....except my hair wasn't on my head!  It was so icky.  My hair has grown back different (different color/texture/thickness) each time.  It's so weird.

One of my other "wig" tales was at one of the trade shows that I was at.  One of the "usuals" walked up to me and started complimenting me like crazy on what a great hair cut I got and how the color was amazing.  I so wanted to just pull that wig off and ask him if he would like to try it on! (which I have done to people in the past....)

I have a feeling that I will never have hair as long as Shmoopy's......Unless I get a really long wig

I can just see someone being a pain in the butt after a long bad day at a show and you handing it to them and saying, keep it I've another... !!!!

Shmoopy does have beautiful long hair thats for sure, I am betting it is a lot more work than many can imagine. I know that just washing out conditioner from mine when it was no it's way to my butt years ago was a time comsuming thing.

That and people wanting to mess with it, oh and I still throw a fit when someone uses my hair brush..

KG, you'd never want it this long for real...a wig is much better and ya don't have to sleep in the darned thing! I hardly ever keep it down...it's a pain to keep up so it's always in ponytail holders all down the length...otherwise it's a nightmare to manage. Not to mention the vacuum cleaners I've gone through! Long hairs winding around a beater bar wear out a vacuum motor real fast!

One of my worst fears is losing it though...that and my teeth...I have a lot of nightmares about either losing or cutting my hair all off or losing all of my teeth...like they just crumble to dust. I read a dream-book about dreams and their meanings once and it said that dreams about losing teeth is the fear of getting old or something like that. Funny, some people can live to be sooooo old and happy and others suffer with so many ailments. Funniest thing is...it's usually the old man/lady who drinks a few shots and keeps fairly active that live the longest... I could be wrong but it SEEMS that way to me.

KG, you have the right attitude with your sense of humor...I must admit I have a bit of a warped funny-bone...I used to love pulling pranks but it got me in a lot of trouble.

IP, you're too sweet! And as I previously stated...yep my hair is a lot of work to keep up (and healthy)...you are right about that.

Kona...!
