Animated Wallpaper

Hey, I'm kinda new to all this customizing stuff (only downloaded static wallpaper so far). I was wondering where to find high quality gif images to use a wallpaper. Or if anyone has other suggestions for good animated wallpaper. I dont want crappy lookin stuff though. Any suggestions would be appreciated. thx

As far as I know. Animated wallpapers are not free to download. They range between $10-$20 each.

for the most part that is true but any avid computer user knows that you can find anything for free

Animated gif wallpapers suck processor cycles like there was no tomorrow.Desktop X will allow you to create nearly any kind of desktop you want and the animations arnt nearly so hoggy.You can have multiple moving objects and they actually can perform different functions.

the term "high quality gif" is an oxymoron if I've ever heard one........

You can find more info on/download desktop x here https://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/downloads.asp. Also, you can have animated wallpaper on your desktop by enableing your active desktop, but this could be (not sure) a resource hog
