New member having problem dling windowblinds and also calanders..

I might suggest you give us a little info............

Do you have WindowBlinds (The Program) installed?

How are you attempting to download, and at what point does it give you trouble?

What calenders are you trying to download?

What OS are you running? 

Also provide version numbers of WindowBlinds, DesktopX, etc.

hmmm, i downloaded the 49.99 package the object desktop, 2-3 days ago. I try to go directly to the site and dl it and then it comes up in one of the folders that i downloaded from object desktop, and doesnt seem to work from there.

I also got the calander from one of the windowblinds themes, but it was completely empty, if you need the versions im running i guess i need to go to the download program for windows desktop where i orginally downloaded all this stuff and get the version numbers from there?

I am also running windows xp professional.

Do you have SDC (Stardock Central) installed?

A lot of the screenshots that are showing calanders are showing an application called Rainlander, or Desktop X (they are objects in DX). Rainlander ( I probably spelled that wrong, I'll come back with a link) is free.

Did you crossreference your account? On top of your screen is a link called edit my account. Click on that and you will find an option called 'crossreference my account'. In case you had a download cap, that will remove that.

Yes i have SDC, i didnt reference it, which i just did, so i will see if that works. Thanks guys i appreciate the help and quick responses...

Will inform you guys on my progress in afew if i dont fall asleep behind the latop.

I think i got it all figured out, thanks guys, but one thing that seems to come up at times, it seems from what i gather to say i am using an older version for some themes, and it might not work if i want to use it, but seems to work fine when i did get it to work...

When using SDC, it will tell you if there is a new version of any programs that you are registered for and ask you if you want to download it.
