Skinning Windows XP Home desktop

Hi there. It depends on what you mean by skinning the desktop. If you mean use skins to replace the standard gui elements (titlebars, menus, scrollbars, and so on) then the app that does this is WindowBlinds http://www.windowblinds.net

If you mean desktop custimzation like adding new elements to your desktop (like new funky wharf bars and whatnot) then you should look at something like DesktopX, HoverDesk, Litestep and so on.

well i see all these cool themes.. but i really want one that is easy on mem resources. very simple, clean, and RAM and Virtual Mem friendly.

Dr Seuss, check out the last link Chris left for you. As for resource useage, I find most skinning programs very friendly with XP, as long as you have plenty of ram, and ram is cheap. The theme/skin you're running will have more of an effect on resources, that the app itself.
