I must confess that i came across Window Blinds thru a bootleg copy of the software.I quickly became enthused with the product and decided to try a skin myself.After spending a lot of time at the wincustomize website i feel i have found my internet home.I decided that i must contribute to this neat product and skinning community.What an interesting internet subculture.I will be purchasing this product.I apologize for using the pirate version at all.If this gets me temporarily barred i understand.I have customers of my own who havnt paid so it may be a week or two.

kona just relax. Most likely I am on the "watch list" too, but I am not going to let it bother me since I made choices in the past that lead up to that. Now I am done with going off topic just to make this point.

I have to agree Hus that fighting Warez sites and P2P networks are futile since more will just spring up like weeds anyways.

kona: The reason karmagirl responded in that way is that people do post a message saying that 'This site has cracked WB and needs shutting down http://blah.blah.com' thinking they are helping stardock when in fact that link is acting as advertisement for that site. A casual reader coming across it and looking for cracked WB will not think twice about going there and downloading it. It may easily end up that what is intended as a 'good deed' could turn into a very bad thing.

The best method of reporting these sites is to email stardock directly or pop onto IRC and speak directly to someone from Stardock.

PS No one is getting at you. Stop trying to justify the fact that you are here and have no warez. Just relax and have fun.

kona: here's the fact on those sites.

99% of them are on offshore servers
what does that mean?
our laws don't apply to them
NOBODY can do anything about them

and a very large chunk of them have 100baset directly to god in their racks so dos'ing is out of the question too

It's interesting, you know.....someone posts an unacceptable comment, you click on his name and by looking at his 'UserID' you can tell where we are up to in numbers....in this case, 679761. [works every time]...
