My hard drive to small

To burn into a CD-R you need a burning program such as Nero, CD Writer or CD Creator. You also need to have your CD Writter configured and the drivers installed.
You do have a CD Writter, dont you?

You can't download directly to your CDrom drive. You gotta save it to the hard drive then burn it after.

If you're that short on hard drive space you may want to consider buying a new one. They're pretty cheap these days.

160gig recently cost me AUS $180....that's about US$110....

Just be sure to run any vendor you find on pricewatch through www.resellerratings.com. Usually, the first page or two of vendors on pricewatch is loaded with vendors that have horrible ratings. Just a friendly saftey tip!



Personally, they may not be the absolute cheapest all the time but you simply can''t beat newegg.com for customer service and shipping price and speed.

If you get a large drive, make sure your BIOS can recognize it! Even some newer ones can't see above 139Gb without an update.

Actually, if you have a CD-RW and a program such as Nero's InCD, you can treat your CDRW's as hard drives (albeit, very small hard drives).
