Nice idea but...

Hotkeys for switching items within a group do not work.

  • Having a hotkey for switching between tabs is a good idea (if it worked) but having one that switched to both Previous and Next would be better.
  • Have a hotkey (editable) that the user can press to bring up a search for windows within that group so that they can type in the name of the window they want and have it display only those windows.

Hello,

The Default hotkey (Win + `) work just fine for me.

But regarding the rest of your suggestions. I have push it for suggestion for added feature to our Development Team for their review and recommendations. I cannot, however, provide a timeline for a response or resolution. You will be notified when one is available.

As noted hotkeys exist and are configurable in Groupy 1.02.

Win + key to the left of 1 and above tab on your standard keyboard moves next, ctrl + that goes backwards.

You can configure the key you want to use from the Groupy Settings page.

On the second idea, that is an interesting thought.

I tried to rebind, and only having the ability to rebind it to Win+ <X> and the fact that nothing I changed it to worked, made me uninstall it.

As noted in that dialog you cannot map to any already in use hotkey of which many keys are in use as WinKey + many letters are provided by OS features.

We chose the default key for a reason as it is easy to press and does not cause conflicts.
