I cant find Beta

did you click 'Show pre-release Versions' under view in stardock?

ahhh thank you... I knew i was missing something

this didnt work for me, and im getting REALLY frustrated, can some OFFICIAL person post as to how to do this EXACTLY?

It seems like stardock is very byzantine in its interface and usage, HELP!!!!!!!!!

1) Run Stardock Central

2) Click Tools->Register Products. Make sure all the info including the serial number is filled out, and that you're using your Drengin serial, not the Gal Civ one. 

3) Under View Check Show Pre-release.

4) Refresh Application data.  If that doesn't work, click on GalCiv, then hit CTRL-P.

Thanks for the clear instructions. How do I verify I have a subscription to Drengin.net?

I start the Drengin Game Manager and click on user info button. This opens a box showing subscription information and a serial number with expiration date (11/9/03). When I paste this number into the Stardock Tools->Register Products the product selector goes to Galciv. When I reselect Drengin the serial number goes blank. I presume this tells me I'm not a Drengin subscriber after all. Is this correct?

The serial number that I'm seeing for you is a Gal Civ Serial number.  If you have another serial number for the drengin.net account, then you have to enter that one.  The upgrade to Drengin is $30 (see the purchase page).  This will give you access to the betas and our other games.
