Hi

I've had GalCiv 2 for years. I bought GalCiv2: Ultimate edition a few years ago, and installed it on my current laptop over a year ago. It always worked.

After a 3 month break, I tried to play it again. However, the game crashes everytime I try to start a new game.

I navigate through the setup, selecting map options, my race/abilities, my enimies, and then I start the game. Midway through the loading screen, the game crashes. Every single time.

I haven't changed anything since a few months ago, with the exception of the normal windows updates.

(I'm using Windows 7, 64 bit.)
