Android tool for GalCiv 2 - Would anyone be interested?

Hi everyone,

I'm thinking of starting a hobby project. I'd like to build an Android application that would allow for offline browsing of research tree, planetary improvements and other stuff - whatever info I can get from the game .xml files.

One use case I'm thinking of is when you're playing a long game  and you're away from the computer, maybe waiting for the bus or something and you'd like to explore the research tree or other game elements to build your strategy. I know, I as a beginner would love such a tool.

The question is: Would anyone be interested in such a tool? If so, please leave comments & suggestions about what features you'd like to see.

The app will be free or at most ad supported.

Would I want to pull out my Android in an odd moment and check out Galciv technicalities?  I can't see that happening.  The scheming I do with Galciv seems less rules detailed than situation detailed.  I can see having it as a handy reference while playing, but it would be as an alternative to using alt-tabbing to some reference web page and not much else.

I would download it for the wonderful geek obsession factor.  :)
