Is this still alive?

I have been playing this game for a while and I love it.

But is the community still alive?

I also have some problems ingame and outgame:

All the aliens are a$$holes and keep killing me.

Plus I can't seem to put this down to windowed mode.

The short answer is no.

But while the community is much reduced from that of a few years ago there are still a few folks that check back in every so often and you can still usually get an answer to a question although you might have to wait a few days for a response.

They're aliens.  If they're hell-bent on bringing the electric death, that's kind of the idea. If you've not caught up with them in military terms, it's a good idea to keep them so busy fighting each other that they pay no attention to the man offering them hefty bribes.

Windowed mode only puts you in a window if you select a resolution less than your desktop size and uncheck the Fullscreen box, otherwise it does a full-size window, which actually runs just as well as fullscreen.

Also, if this community is dead then I'm one of them really fast zombies so like, watch out. ;)

I wouldn't call it dead. The place seems a bit more lively than it was a while back and you usually get your answer the same day...

As regards to the "Aliens Killing you" - what difficulty have you got the game on? how many opponents are you facing and are they allied? And what have you done to pee them off? Besides their supposed to kill you - The only worldwide famous "Alien not trying to kill everyone" was ET and he wanted to max out our phone bill! lol
