Anyone out there running an Android based tablet? I had a question. We have one here at the house. Tried to connect to the Android app store and it required me to add my Gmail account. So I did. Yet I get a "Could not establish a secure connection" message when trying to log in.
Any ideas as to a fix?
I have no problems with that. What kind of connection are you using?
Also, I have notice Android Market being down some lately.
Standard WPA2 encrypted wifi connection. The tablet goes online with no issues. Just can't connect to the app store.
The app store is a bit odd. Has this happen for an extended period of time?
Last night was the first time we tried to sign in to the app store.
Working on my HP Touchpad, and on my Toshiba Thrive. But sometimes not. What exactly is it doing. Error messages?
After trying to sign in to the app store it gives the following message:
"Could not establish a secure connection"
Problem solved. Turns out the site was having issues. All is well now.
btw hate to get into specifics about everything but for android it's called market, and for iOS it's called app store. People just might get confused if you say app store on android since it's already associated with apple products
I am buying an Android based tablet soon. Is there a new generation on the horizon, or will I have to wait long for that?
From what i've read on typical rss feeds (engadget, geeky gadgets etc..) there hasn't been much talk of new tablets on the horizon only speculation on the iPad 3
That was what I figured....happens a lot lately, it seems. Glad you got it!
As far as I know, Google has made Android open source. Lotsa people doing lotsa stuff.
